 Artists Create Original Art
Hair and make-up was a big part of art in cheerleading. Our hair and make-up has to all look the same. Our gym colors are black and red. The uniforms we wear must match the theme of our gym. For the whole season our make-up was silver with a little bit of red. For worlds we changed it to a smokey eye of silver and black. We all had to get as a team together and do the make-up the same way. From close up it looks good and from far away it looks even better. For the girls on the team we had to tease our hair and do a poof. A poof is where you get the top part of your hair and tease it so it looks like a birds nest, and then lay it back. We all had to put our bows in our hair and tease our ponytail to make it look big.

Artist Take Risks
As a team of 19 people during the routine we all have to make sure we look the same.  We all have to have the same timing, and we all have know the counts. The counts are from 1-8 each count is a different thing. There is a separate part on the score sheet for synchronized tumbling. As a team we all do back handspring back handspring full. We all have to take off the same, we all have to set the same and we all have to land the same. While we are tumbling we all have to make sure our ankles and legs are together.

Artist Collaborate
As being a part of a team with twenty people we all have to work together. Everyone has to do their own stuff because if one person messes up the whole team messes up. As a team we all have to work together. We figured out yelling at eachother doesn't help, but working together as a team. Durring the week of worlds I have never seen my team so bonded. We all took different roles of the team. No one on our team was a captian, we all had to motivate and push eachother throughout the routine. We all cheered eachother on when we knew someone was having a hard part. But in the end we all loved eachother and took different roles as being part of the team.
